I've been away in on vacation just recently came back to play BF1. I've got a 1440p 144hz monitor and I wasn't getting around 100 FPS during multiplayer with pretty much everything on ultra. Resolution scale is at 175%. I don't remember if it set that way since I came back. I don't remember if I had it this way before. Should I set it to 100%? I'm not really that sure what it does.

Now that I'm back I'm getting on the 50s and 60s with the same exact settings as I was two weeks ago. My CPU usage isn't 20% and my GPU usage is 99%.

Specs:
GTX 1080 Ti
Ryzen 1800X
16 GB DDR4 3200 RAM
MSI X370 Carbon Pro Motherboard
850W EVGA PSU

Does anyone know what the problem is or is having a similar issue? I've tried in both the campaign and multiplayer and into getting the same results.

Solution
Resolution scale makes the game render at a higher resolution then compress down to fit your monitor; it increases detail. If you're running at 2560x1440 and the resolution scale is set to 175%, the game is rendering at 4480x2520. Set it back to 100%.
