Greetings. I've had a 2x4 Kingston set for quite a while, set is KHX1600C9D3K2/8G. Mobo is Z77-A.

Now I want to upgrade to 16gb and I still have two slots left, so I wanted to buy another 2x4 Kingston set. The set I have obviously has been discontinued long ago.

How do I know what set is compatible? I really hope I don't have to do another sell-and-switch like when I went from 4 to 8gb. Thanks.

Thanks for replying, but I'm in Europe, and he does not ship over here. Even if he did, it would be an outrageous amount for tracked shipping (I would never put my money into an oversea purchase that wasn't tracked) anyway, as it always happens.

Recommended to use a 2 x 8 GB dual channel kit instead for increased system stability and reliability. The existing 2 x 4 GB memory could be kept as backup, or sell them.

Here are compatible Kingston memory.
