Hello everyone, i posted this earlier too but lost that account so couldn't see any solutions.SO here it is again..
My Laptop specs
Processor -> i3 3227u @1.9Ghz Dual Core 4 threads
GPU -> Gt 740m 1Gb Dedicated Memory
RAM -> 4GB DDR3

So i don't play a lot of new games. I usually Call Of Duty 1 multiplayer which is pretty old. My GPU usage while playing that game is 40% or around that with unstable 333 fps At resolution of 800*600.i can get stable but only in few maps. When i increase the resolution to 1024*768 the fps decreases only a bit and GPU usage goes upto 50-60%. Lowering resolution doesn't increase the fps a lot but only lowers GPU usage.
i can play High-end Graphics game like Assassins Creed 3 and 4 smoothly at high resolution and GPU usage for them is 95%.
so if there is any way to increase GPU usage For CoD upto 90% i can get my fps.
I have tried tweaking all settings from game and also from Nvidia Control Panel.
I have checked for virus.
Pls Help!

Solution

After googling a tad it does seem jump height is increased with higher FPS. This is sort of stupid IMO. Anyways, it seem 333 FPS is sort of the set frame rate cap within the game for everyone, so there isn't anything you can do to increase FPS further.
In this scenario you should increase your graphics settings/resolution as high as you can while still being around that mythical 333 FPS.

When i do that Gpu Usage increases and fps decreases only by a bit but it doesn't help with fps issue.

So can i do anything or just play at lower fps ?

and also i have seen people with worse GPU and CPU like pentium getting 333

But what about forcing GPU to 99% .. Is anything in the world that can do that No matter what the lOad is But GPU is always At 99%. i have tried Kboost but it didnt help, it limits fps to 118

This is a clear case of bottleneck (it is inevitable so don't be worries). You can read about it here: https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/214851-on-cpugpu-bottlenecking-in-games

If you GPU isnt at 100% usage, it means it isn't performing all of it's juice, most likely because it doesn't need to. Yes, as you increase the resolution or graphical settings the workload on the GPU will increase and the graphics card will need to use more power to achieve the previous FPS.

At those framerates, it seems the CPU is limiting your FPS there. There isn't really anything you can do about it though. Why do you need more than 330 FPS? Any frame rate above your monitor's refreshrate wont become distinguishable smoother. Meaning if your monitor refresh rate is 60hz (most common), 500 FPS wont be any smoother than a stable 80 FPS.

My suggestion is to increase you resolution + graphic settings until your framerate is stable at your monitor's refresh rate.

So to conclude, you can increase your GPU usage by increasing the resolution + graphical settings. However the increase of GPU usage will not increase your frame rate, but will increase your graphic quality you see the game at. There is no need for higher FPS anyways.

Thanks For help And for your question why i need more than 330 fps... Cause it give bigger jumps xD and you can reach higher spots than other

Yes, though to a point of your monitor's refresh rate. The FPS definitely isn't making you jump higher though.

With the 70% of the CPU used, my assumption is only a couple threads are being effectively utilized by the game. Again, nothing you can do here. If not, it would have to do with the game software, or just software in general.

Wow you are right and wrong at the same time. There is a script that enables you to make a bunny jump along with strafe jump in cod 1 when you have more than 333 fps. That was the right part. The wrong part is that the fps can't make you jump higher in any game but the script enables it in cod 1

Old games for ya'

I remember a time when Everquest run speed was linked to CPU speed on logging in. Log in in a low-power state, knock it back up to full power and get a 400% run speed boost. Old coding relying on things that would never dynamically change back then.

CoD1 will almost certainly be a single-threaded game - you will never occupy 100% of a multi-core CPU with one thread - You will at best get the game hogging all of one core and Windows processes using the rest. Must be pretty fugly at 800x600...

Jumps Work only if 333 is stable so i will better bump up resolution as you say and also save my eyes a bit :D

Cool, I'm glad we could help! Good to know about that jumping programming with the scripts and old games, thanks.
