Hello im needing help getting a better connection

Solution
Does your machine have a wireless nic card or is it only ethernet. Wireless may be ok depending on your needs. If your primary use is only games wireless can have issues but it tends to work well for most other things.

Powerline devices work well in most houses. There are the small number of houses they have trouble in because of issues with the electrical wires.

That particular powerline is very old technology. I did not even know they made 85m versions. The first ones I have seen were av200 based. You only get a tiny fraction of these numbers. The older version had more issues with poor electical wires the newest models work in houses the old ones do not. I would consider the ones based on the newest av2 standard...

You will see those saying speeds of 600-1200....which you only get a tiny fraction of even in the best case. They do tend to work better than even the av200 or av500 based devices which where the older generations of powerline networks.

I see you placed a update while I posted. If you can get ethernet that is your best option, many times you can hide the wire along the base board. Do not buy the flat or thin wire it does not actually meet the standards for ethernet no matter what the vendor claims. Get pure cppper able with wire gauge between 22-24 awg
