I just got this brand new CPU, but I am not getting any post on it. My BIOS is up to date, I followed the no post checklist, but I still haven't gotten any result.

Been sitting with this since it arrived. I tried cmos reset, jumper, bios flash update, single ram slot, single graphic card instead of 2. I wouldn't say any pins are bent, since it works with the old one.

Motherboard is P9x79 LE.
My new CPU is i7-4930k old was an i7 3820.
2xGTX 970 in SLi(single until I get this cpu working)
32gb ddr3 1600 corsair vengeance.

If more info is needed, please ask for it. If anyone can solve this, I'd be truly grateful.

And everything else works just fine with the old CPU installed?

It would be worth a shot to flash the BIOS revision 4210 which was the first stepping that enabled support for your new CPU.

IF that doesn't work, and all other components seem fine (which they appear to be with all working with the prior CPU), I'm not sure. It may be an issue with the CPU itself. Where did you obtain it? Assuming it wasn't new in 2017?

Bribes/giveaways for a 'fix' are not necessary - not sure if they're even allowed on the forum in all honesty.

You flashed the BIOS - which version did you update to? 4701 or 4801? 4801 is a beta, so I'd avoid that and flash the latest final version = 4701.

You'd tried single slot RAM etc, have you tried while disconnecting all the HDDs etc? While it would be rare, it could be possible your OS install if causing a problem.

HDD's didn't work out. I updated it to the version 4701, since it was a beta version. Another guy said to hold down the memok till it beeps, but no beeps and it just keeps blinking red until jumper reset.

If bribes aren't allowed, sorry. I saw another guy do it, so I thought why not for faster solution.

I picked it up from a very reliable hardware store, here in Scandinavian, which I have ordered from before. I already contacted them saying it might not be working. It came in orignal package and everything.

I will try to update it to 4210 as you said.. I'll keep trying stuff until tomorrow.

EDIT: 4210 wasn't there.
"P9X79 LE BIOS 4302
1.Fixed Power On By RTC function failed.
2.Improve system compatibility.
3.Support Intel IVB-E series CPU."

I will be going for that one.

People can choose if they want it or not. I already put it there, too late to remove it.
