im sure this is a noob question to modding but whats the best way to strip the paint on the inside of the case without spending a fortune on the good stuff? I heard of brake cleaner @$2 a can and used it before but not on fully cured paint. ill be removing 3 layers of primmer and flat black spray paint that dident come out right(cheap primmer dried to fast) the entire case mod is steel and aluminum so no worry's about plastic. also is there a durable paint i can get i always bitch up my pc's within a week of painting

You need to use the proper paint remover but that can be messy and if you don't get all of it off it will mess up your new paint. You don't need to remove all of the paint to be able to paint over it if that is your intention. Just sand it and rough it up a little and spray paint over it. Make sure you wear breathing protection and paint it outside if you are using spray paint.
