Hey, this happens many times a day, sometimes it's within seconds of logging into Windows, sometimes it's within 20 minutes, usually when I pass the 30 min mark I am fine. It doesn't necessarily happen when the GPU is under load. I've been away for a while now, but before I've also been getting BSOD (VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR) but that seems to have gone away with wiping the drivers and everything that was left from them. Then I've gotten few HDD BSODs but that might have been unrelated, doesn't seem to be happening at the moment. Right now it just freezes randomly (if audio is playing, it gets stuck as well) with the only option being hard reset.

I'm getting desparate, I've tried many drivers including the newest (17.6.1), the old ones 16.x.x, 17.4.4 etc, but it keeps happening, I've tried installing only the HDMI Audio + Display drivers without the profiler and settings. I've tried unplugging the card and plugging it back. I've also tried different motherboard BIOSes, I've tried overvolting/undervolting and underclocking the card, I've also done the media creation tool windows reinstall.

It seems it's more likely to happen when I'm opening some OC software (TRIXX, Afterburner etc), I also get "Radeon WattMan crashed, defaults were set" notification even when the card is full stock.

Nothing has worked, here is my build and the event viewer crash log between two crashes:

PC:

GPU: ASUS RX 580 O8G Gaming

CPU: Intel Core i5 6400

Mobo: MSI Z170 Gaming M3 (voltages are all stock)

RAM: HyperX Fury 2x4GB 2666MHz

SSD: OCZ Trion 100 120GB

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM + WD Blue Caviar 500GB

PSU: FSP Hyper S 700w - It doesn't have even 80+ bronze which I know is bad, but it's got 5 year warranty and it gets quite good reviews around here. I'm not saying it's possibly not the case, should I try ordering high quality Seasonic G650 or something of that sort?

Crash Log

I will try running memtest86 (I doubt RAM is the problem, but hell, it could be anything at this point), I'll edit the post with the results, in the meantime feel free to suggest anything that comes across your mind, thanks a lot.

EDIT: The temps are definitely not the case

I do have the new BIOS.

I understand you with the PSU, what makes me wonder is that before I had more power hungry 280 and it was running just fine, I'll pop it back in and see if it's working.

It's about 1 year and 3 months old. I'll be getting high quality PSU either way, but right now this is my priority number one, any other ideas? I'm currently reinstalling drivers on the 280 to test it out, so far it didn't seem extremely stable, but that might have been because it had colliding drivers.

Nope, either the screen just freezes and stays the way it is until restarted or the monitors act like they PC got turned off. The cursor freezes as well.
