When creating Desktop Icons / Searching for them in Windows Search they all appear with either a Blank Box or a Globe.

Here is an example of what I am talking about: http://i.imgur.com/I11a2nR.png

I have installed them from Steam after the Windows Installation so I'm have no clue why this has happened.

Solution
Ohhhh, now I understand a little better. I've had the same thing happen to me, sort of; never on such a scale though. It's a Windows issue, actually; something about the icon cache. I've never been able to get it fixed, but it usually fixes itself on a restart. If it's not fixing on restart for you, put in a ticket with M$.

That looks like something's preventing it from finding Steam's icon directory (usually Steam/steam/games). If you right-click on one of them, go to "Properties," and then click "Change Icon," do you get an error message?

Reinstall Steam. It appears that the Steam applaunch protocol isn't working. Most Steam games launch from shortcuts with command lines like "steam://rungameid/4000" (that's Garry's Mod). They also have a "Web Document" tab, which is missing in your screenshots.

I have reinstalled Steam on both PCs however it did not change anything.
Here is a video of me trying to manually change the icon - https://youtu.be/HZqCouWSJ-I

Thank you for your support!
