Solution
It will run. But you may get lower performance or shutdowns if the PSU gets overloaded. Mostly it depends on WHICH 500W PSU you have.

Yes it is enough. As long as the PSU has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 32 Amps or greater and has one 75-Watt 6-pin and one 150-Watt 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors it should work.
