Hey guys..
Well, I got a new build setup and started getting things together for a post test, mounting It right above the mobo's box.
Problem is, the rig turns on but doesn't post or beeps. Apparently, the monitor recognizes both video card or onboard graphics, but the screen is still black.
I have tried these steps without succeeding:
-disconnecting video card and plugging onboard graphics.
-removing both memory sticks for at least a beep (no beeps)
-using only one memory stick (and tried with both)
-reinstalling everything from the beggining, including cpu.
-resetting CMOS
I havent tried removing battery and resetting CMOS, but I doubt this would do any good.
I have certified everything was plugged: cpu_fan + USB for Corsair h80i, cpu 8-pin Power, Mobo Power and PCI express 8-pin Power. Also certified the HDMI cable was plugged both into monitor and vga.
The build is:
i7 7700k
H80i v2 watercooler
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2400Mhz 16GB (2x8)
Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Rock
Asus prime z270-K 1151 socket
Corsair TX650-V2 650W Enthusiast Series
I have not tested with SSD+HDD yet since its a post test only.
This is the first build I build by myself and It has already frustrated me. Hope you guys have a light...
