Note, I have little knowledge of all the specifics of graphics card but I do know a little so speak "English" as such.

I just want to know if it is up to date. I intend to play games such as ESO and Shadow of Mordor, Fallout4, City Skylines, Civ 6 etc. Not looking for Ultra Settings or even High. Just something that is good quality and doesn't spoil the game.
I have two of the exact same Graphics cards although I'm not sure if i'm using both. I do know that they both work however. And rest of my PC is pretty good. 8 GB of ram.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30.

Here is a list of my Adapter information.

  • Adapter Type: AMD Radeon HD 5800 Series. - Adapter String aswell.

Chip Type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6898).

    DAC Type: Internal DAC 400MHz.

    Total Graphic Memory: 2432 MB.

    Dedicated Memory: 1024MB.

    System Video Memory: 0MB.

    Shared System Memory: 1408 MB.

If it is outdated, what do you recommend to get at a budget price and where might I get the best price for these two?

Solution

GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1060, whichever your budget allows. GTX 1060 3GB is considerably faster than the GTX 1050 Ti 4GB despite having 1GB less VRAM.

some considerations

what power supply do you have

what resolution do you intend to play at

and what do you consider "budget price"

for those games you want minimum a gtx 1050 ti if you want to play at 1080p

My power supply is 850 Watts.

I'd like to play at 1080p in an ideal world. But realistic, I am happy with HD. So 720p for the higher demanding games such as Shadow of Mordor.

A Budget price for me is more quality over actual money. I'd prefer to stay under 200€ (I'm Irish fyi), but if I was to buy a new graphics card, i'd like to sell one of mine at least. Might keep one for a backup.

As I said my PC is fairly good apart from my graphics cards, which hasn't had problems till recently when I notice some games running slower and FPS dropping too.

I was looking at the 1060 just there now. For an extra €80-€100 I could get a 6GB one. I might just save up for a while and see then.

Thanks for the help, at least I know I have to get new graphics card. Going to be a lot of watching youtube benchmark videos on different gpu's for a while.
