Hello,

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 13, and on my touchscreen, there is a line which is unresponsive. Tapping anywhere in the line does not trigger a response; however, if I drag my finger quickly enough through the line, there is sometimes a response. I have some experience with computers, but not enough to understand what the problem is and to fix it. I am hoping someone can help shed some light on whether it is a software or a hardware issue.

Thank you in advance,

-Matt

P.S. My screen does not have an active digitizer in it, therefore it does not have a pen. I have heard that sometimes it is because the screen in sensing the pen, but because I have no digitizer. It leaves me confused.

I don't think when you move it fast it is actually working but is just picking up the motion when it gets past the inactive area.
Most likely you have a bad screen that needs to be replaced. You can try checking for newer driver updates from Lenovo but does not sound like it's a software issue.
