Specs:

Processor - AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor

Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce GT 730

Motherboard - Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-78LMT-S2PT (Socket M2)

RAM - 16 GB

Operating System - Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit

I am trying to upgrade this to something that can relatively run GTA 5 good (just an example) because it is far to slow on games like ark: survival evolved and I couldn't even imagine gta with mods.
I thought about getting these for the processor and video card:

Help me out here, I know there are things you need in order to run these I just need to know what else I have to upgrade for these or if I can get any better video card/processor for around the same price range.

What is your budget?

Your games, I think depend on a single fast master thread.
There are no FX upgrades with significantly faster threads.

My suggestion is to use a 7th gen intel Pentium G4620(4 threads) , about $100.
You will also need a lga1151 motherboard, preferably B250 based. $70 and some DDR4 ram $60 for 8gb.

The integrated HD630 graphics will be a step up from your GT730 so you might want to do the cpu first to see how you do.
You can always add a discrete graphics card later.
suggestions:

upgrade to latest 7th gen CPU including your Video card selection
