Hi, i am starting this thread because i want to format and reinstall my windows and drivers. The problem is with my new case i do not have a optical drive. I went on my motherboards drivers webpage and copied my drivers onto a flash drive. Now, i have two questions, one is, when i boot into windows without installing any motherboard drivers can i web browse? second if i need drivers, what drivers do i need to web browse. I use a ethernet connection, so i am guessing that the LAN drivers are the ones i want. I do not need any other drivers do i?

Upvoted because you know, just incase, but I've installed soooo much windows 10 on older pc's and never out of maybe 50 installations using a USB drive that I was missing the LAN driver. Mostly incompatibility issues with laptop drivers (the graphics card) when updating from like Vista or Windows XP (yes it even figured out my windows XP drivers haha).

You can install the drivers on a USB drive to be safe but Windows 10 is pretty good at finding drives by itself when installation takes place. I've never had issues with it figuring out Lan drivers and I've updated tons of systems that were very old and even I was surprised at it's ability to figure out what drivers you actually need.
Simple answer is: If you're worried just download the driver on a USB drive, not a big deal. but it will probably detect the driver without you doing anything automatically.
