Windows 10 100% disk usage in Task Manager

Solution
Windows is installing something, most likely windows updates.

You can check the resource monitor to see exactly what is using your hard drive.

The solution is just letting it finish.

as seen here, 0,6 mb/s is the highest one that is running.
and system is taking it up.

Right but it is not very descriptive.

Some processes can use that to install other things.

You need to launch the resource monitor to peek into that process to see what it is exactly installing.

Press the Windows key + R at the same time and in that box type "resmon" to launch the resource monitor.

From there we would look into the disk tab and see where the installer program is writing to.

More than likely it would be windows update which should show up as wuapp or something similar.

Edit: This is coming from an English windows, hopefully the processes are named the same for Dutch.
