Need help with a graphics card! I was wondering if it worth waiting for the Vega and Volta? Will it really be "ground breaking"? I am leaning towards the GTX 1080 OC Strix or FE?

Thank you

Get a 1070 instead.
Gonna copy/paste this from elsewhere, just take out the 'ti' part: About 1080p: some will argue that it's worthwhile if your on a high refresh monitor(120+), but the problems with this are some games don't...

Gonna copy/paste this from elsewhere, just take out the 'ti' part: About 1080p: some will argue that it's worthwhile if your on a high refresh monitor(120+), but the problems with this are some games don't even support those refresh rates/are locked at 60. And even if you system shows that one is exceeding the locked rate, they are forced to use v-sync, or see extreme screen tearing... and take into account the cpu/gpu combination(bottleneck) at that resolution, probably can't even push those high frames anyway.
1080ti is really a 1440p+ card. "But it'll get better as games get more and more demanding." That's just a weak excuse.
1060/1070/(don't know the AMD equivalent) are best bang for 1080p at the moment.
