I have a 16GB stick in my PC at the minute, it's 1.35v and 3200mhz. If I bought an 8GB stick that is also 1.35v and 3200mhz, would that make 24GB that the PC can use?
Because I heard that dual channel have better performance on gaming , ect.
the 8gb ram is the same 16gb marked : corsair vengeance led 3200mhz c16

Solution
Did you read the PDF page I specified?
If you put the RAM in like it shows on PDF page 21, then the first 8GB of the 16GB DIMM will be used in dual channel mode with the 8GB DIMM. The additional 8GB of the 16GB DIMM will be in single channel mode. It explicitly says that on PDF page 22.

It would depend on the motherboard, but you probably CAN'T use a 16GB and an 8GB for dual channel. The two DIMMs in the same color slots have to be the same size. You would probably have to put the 16 in one bank and the 8 in the other. 24GB single channel.

PDF page 22 (1-6) addresses what happens with different sized DIMMs -0-http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/STRIX_Z270E_GAMING/E12192_STRIX_Z270E_GAMING_UM_V2_WEB.pdf?_ga=2.218190169.1513532565.1497196685-1271369653.1458008676.
You will get 16GB in dual channel and 8GB in single channel.

thanks man :):D

That is true about running dual channel. Whether or not your system boots up with such a configuration is another story. Corsair does not guarantee compatibility with such a combination. You may need to lower the memory clock speed and relax the timings to get it to work. Increasing DRAM voltage may also be needed.
