Hello, I'm trying to setup a budget build for a friend of mine. So I've decided to go with the new Ryzen CPUs for the build but I'm not fully sure what all goes good with Ryzen. I know that higher ram speeds can give the CPU a good performance increase. Anyways, as of right now I don't have any board picked out yet, I figured I would get the best ram for the 1600X and then find a board that supports the ram instead.

Solution
If the GPU is GTX1060 or lower, you can buy 2133 Mhz RAM sticks for the built.
Cheap Crucial RAM sticks should do the trick. Check motherboard QVL list for memory before buying. You can also check Crucial website for compability.

What's the reason for this? Is it because the budget cards wouldn't be bottlenecked by the cpu due to it being a more low end card?

:)

If you want great performance, you must buy nice GPU.
If you don't want to bottleneck your GPU, you must buy CPU which have enough power for GPU.
If you don't want to bottleneck your CPU, you must buy RAM which have enough power for CPU.

So, GTX1060 and Ryzen 5 1600X are nice combo. GTX 1060 doesn't have enough power for bottlenecking by 2133 Mhz RAM.
(Okay, 2133 Mhz bottlenecks 3-5 FPS sometimes but come on it isn't important.)
With 1050Ti ? Wouldn't worry. Just buy 2133 Mhz. :)
