Soo.... my AMD FX-6300 just started performing really poorly recently and I was wondering why, I mailed back and forth with the website I bought it on and they came to the conclusion that my CPU is underclocked, I tried some things like a BIOS update, Clean install of windows, turning off every CPU feature, BIOS reset but nothing worked, here are the HWmonitor pictures. https://prnt.sc/fiil5j & https://prnt.sc/fiilg8
They also said I should take a loot at these forums

Before sending it back I would like to try some things out that could fix it, because I need my PC for school and work.
I would really appreciate any tips from experts that could help me out here. Thanks in advance

Well your PSU should be able to handle your system without issues (hope you got it at a great price though).

Time to stress test your system, use Intel Burn Test or AIDA64 benchmark option to force your CPU to work at 100% load, this should trigger it to ramp its clock to max speed.

Any chance you have AMD Overdrive installed? or some mobo software for "fine-tuning" or controlling your CPU? they usually include an option similar to power profiles so maybe there its set to hold its clocks back.
While I do see an intensive use of your CPU on the first screenshot, it was stuck on 1.4Ghz, so I wonder what were you running to test it.

Post your full PC specs specially your PSU, an underpowered CPU won't clock up to its max speed at all.

It could also be something more simple, like your PC's power profile is set on "economizer" instead of balanced/full performance, go into control panel->power options and change your PC power profile to full performance then test it again.

I do have a new PSU and the problem occured not that long after, I have a 500 Watt Enermax Platimax (80 plus) I would paste a link but for some reason I can't find it anywhere. I have every performance profile put to max but no difference. For some reason a while ago all these problems just disapeared for a short while, but returned not long after.
