Hey folks, simple question here.
I have a desktop computer located about 20ft away from my desired workstation. I've been using an HDMI extension to get video signal to my monitor(s). I need to get a USB signal from my desk to the desktop.
I read online that a USB extention should do the trick easily, but I am a cheap guy and don't want to buy two seperate 20ft USB male-female cables. So my question to you wonderful people is - can I merge the keyboard and mouse signal into one 20ft USB cable to go to the desktop using a USB splitter without losing any functionality. Or alternatively, could I send those signals into my HDMI cable somehow? (I read that this was also possible but have no idea how).
