Hello,
So I recently bought a new 2tb seagate to replace my old HDD with 0% hdd life (As shown on HDD sentinel), but enormous valuable information. the information on the old HDD is still accessible but the PC is constantly freezing. I am interested if it was a good idea to install windows on a newer hdd and install it, leaving the older one inside. Will it still be freezing, Is it possible and if yes, how ?

Leaving a defective HDD connected is not a good idea. If your PC is constantly freezing now that problem won't go away until you remove the defective HDD.

Make sure you have a backup of all of your valuable data now on another drive before you lose the data completely.
