These are the parts that I was considering putting into my new computer. Any thoughts? I did some research, and it seems like Intel works best for X-Plane and other flight simulators. I wonder about the video card, though.

CPU: I7 7700K
Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270E
Video Card: Strix EVGA GE Force 1080 or the TI?
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5 7200 RPM
PSU: Corsair RM650X
Liquid Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61
Optical Drive: LG - GH24NSC0B DVD/CD Writer
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe
RAM: Gskill Ripjaws V series 16 GB DDR4 2400

Solution
Not sure how much you will be pursuing an overclock, AIO liquid coolers have more problems and shorter lifespans than air coolers, I only suggest AIO's if doing significant overclocks.

The 1080 Ti is that much faster than the plain 1080, X-plane requires a powerful GPU, if you have the money buy the 1080 Ti. Even consider dropping the CPU to an i5-7600K to get the Ti.

Sweet spot for RAM for Kaby Lake is around 3000MHz, might want to bump the RAM. Likely won't cost much more.
