My current PSU (https://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/PSU.aspx?pn=d5d0bb41-4452-4449-821d-64321bf582b8) died I guess, was not able to turn on the PC after turning it off couple of hours ago. Tried the bobby pin trick also, it wanted to start but couldn't. I have an old PSU (http://bulk.fsp-europe.com/fsp600-50arn-88) it still works, has been sitting in a box for about 1 or a little bit more than a year. I was wondering if its safe for me to use this for a week or two till I get my new PSU? I currently don't have my GPU plugged in but its a bitch to work with the 60hz currently, I just dont want to fuck up any of my parts.

Solution
the "old" PSU is fine and will not damage anything. Don´t know why some answered "oh no, please don´t, dangerous".

safety circuits are present, FSP is a good company. It may be loud and not recommended for buying, but will power on the PC.

If I would add it back just for the reason to have my sweet 144hz back, that wouldn't push the old PSU too much would it?
