I shipped my PC but UPS broke it. What should I do to get my insurance?

So I shipped my PC through UPS in a very sturdy box, surrounded by clothes and some foam. I opened it up with visible damage to the box and my enthoo pro case had smashed plastic on the corners. I checked inside and my GTX 970 was hanging on its screws, slightly bent and the card broke out of the PCI-s slot. The pci-e slot that it was in is also broken. The card no longer sits in the case because of how bent it is. I don't think UPS will be able to see the damage, because I doubt their team knows the inner workings of a PC. Should I put sticky notes inside the case showing the damage? or should I leave everything in place so they don't think I tried to tamper with anything? Thanks a bunch!

If there were visible, major, dents on the outer box, you should have taken it directly back to your local UPS place.

Now...all bets are off. Your word against theirs.
But do take it to them anyway.
You bought insurance on this, right?

Yeah i got insurance on it. The driver is coming to pick up the PC tomorrow to see if they'll pay for damage. The box it was in does have crumples on the corners, but the PC has very obvious broken plastic.
