Use HDTV antenna with a converter box and analogue tv?

Hi - I'm wondering if I can use an HDTV antenna with an analogue tv and converter box - the
antennas I have now only work on the west side of the apartment, but not the north.

A
Over-the-air TV and antennaes is not an easy subject. It does not matter whether you have box+old TV, or new TV - the signal must have some strength so that antennae can work properly. You'll need either bigger / better antennae, or find a way to feed the cable thru the apartment to the ultimate destination.
