The CPU temp doesnt show up in both SpeedFan and Open Hardware Monitor software. CPU load and other temperature readings, such as GPU, HDD, do show up.

I have to go into BIOS to see the CPU temp reading, how can I make monitoring software detect the CPU temp?

Also, it shows Core#1 to #16, most of the time #8-#16 stays at 0%. But sometimes some cores reach 100%, is this normal? It seems like some of the cores are not utilized and some of them are loading at 100%. Is this normal? Overall CPU usage rarely goes over 15%.

Just use the Gigabyte's own app - Easytune to monitor your CPU temps,

Or I use AIDA64 Extreme to monitor mine.

And yes, the CPU utilisation is normal, this is why some people prefer SMT off, so just 8 full cores, 8 threads, so they are all being utilised rather than 16 threads with just half being utilised
