Hello,

i want to replace my GTX 950 with a GTX 680 but i am not sure since the GTX 680 is a much older generation and i don't know if it's worth doing that

Also i have a 6th Gen Core i3 6100 @ 3,70 GHz, would that be a bottleneck?
I also have a 350Watt Power Supply, is that enough?

Should i do it? i believe the GTX 680 is actually better and i found a MSI GTX 680 2048 for just 90£

So what would the downsides of downgrading into a older generation be? if any

All i really want to do is run Minecraft shaderpacks with less issues, i don't really care about the newest Call of Duty games or whatever famous heavy games come out these days...

you would need a new psu, 350w is not enough for a 680

good 550w or better with the proper pcie cables
