Greetings,
I just finished building my new PC, installed windows and all drivers that needs to be installed
I just checked my BIOS version and it said 0508, do I need to update it to a newer BIOS?
I heard that updating my BIOS could make my RAM run faster and some apps could run smoother, but I also read that updating BIOS may lead into a failure
Any safe way to update BIOS?
Also, on ASUS page, the newest BIOS is still on beta version (which include agesa 1.0.0.6), should I just update it to the newest non-beta version?
Thanks

Yes update it, don't use the beta, use the last official bios, download the bios file, unzip it to your desktop, format a USB stick to fat32 and copy the individual files to the USB stick, not in any folders or anything.

Now reboot to the bios and load bios defaults, save and exit the bios but reboot back to the bios, now launch the ez flash app built into the bios and follow the instructions.

Don't touch anything whilst it's flashing and don't remove the USB stick until the flash is complete and has booted back up.
