Solution
So during installation just choose to wipe the entire disc and install Ubuntu to the entire disc. Why do you want a swap space? If you have less than 4 gb of RAM then SWAP might come in handy. Is this a laptop? If it is then you will definately need SWAP. Choose your partitioning scheme very carefully based on your needs and use the entire drive.
You can not install Ubuntu on the C: drive because you will then erase Windows 10. By definition the C: drive is the drive that Windows is installed on, the SDA1 drive is the drive that Ubuntu will install to. The SDA designation is the method that Linux uses to name the different partitions and drives while the C: D: H: etc. is the method that Microsoft uses.

In your disk management app, you need to find your target drive and then just install Ubuntu to that particular drive, but you can not use your C: drive if you plan to dual boot.
