I have a razer orochi which keeps disconneting when im playing games however in the desktop it seems to be fine, sometimes it will disconnect every 20 seconds and sometimes we work fine, what i want to know is if i can fix it without buying anything and if its the cable not the mouse.
when i feel of move the cable it will make the connecting and disonnecting sounds.

I have tried:
-unticking power save thing in USB root
-switching usb ports

Yes the razer synapse and yes it's for every game but within it you can have different profiles. People do this to remap buttons, change DPI and sensitivity based on a game. For those meticulous about it, an FPS game will have different settings than a mostly static RTS. If you don't know about profiles, then you're not the one creating them but I do wonder if some came preloaded with synapse. Try this....shut down synapse. Your mouse will work without it, you just won't have access to full range of its settings. Then in windows mouse settings adjust it to whatever you need. See if the issue is still happening. And finally if still it happens, contact them. In fact, contact them anyway, cause if it's a game specific issue that's...

If the connecting/disconnecting sounds happen when moving the cable, even when not in games, and it happens no matter the usb port you're connecting to then you've probably got a crimp or weakness somewhere in the wire and not much help with that other than replacing the mouse.

If the usb connect/disconnect sound happens only in games, then I'd say, if it's a fancy mouse with one of those utilities that auto load on startup and that load different profiles when gaming, to either check the settings within the utility, or shut the utility down for a while, and check if it still happens within the game.

If it's not a fancy mouse but still happens only within games, it could be lots of things. Something with mouse drivers? Something with specific games you're playing and your mouse? Maybe something about usb 2/3 compatibility? At that point I'd get a different mouse off another computer, just to see if it's happening still, so you know if it's mouse specific or not.

Then check the razer utility for the mouse and what your settings are at, if there are some game specific settings that load automatically that you weren't aware of and so on. Also razer has pretty good support (I've got a razer mouse myself). Check if there have been issues reported either with type of usb port or with specific games.
For example from its support page:
My Razer product does not work correctly with a specific program or game. What should I do?
If you are experiencing issues with the Razer device in a particular application, test the device in another application to confirm if the issue is specific to that application. If the Razer device functions properly in another application then the program is likely the cause of the issue. Please feel free to contact customer support at http://www.razersupport.com/contact-us/ to report the issue and see if there are any fixes or workarounds for the issue.
Therefore somebody has run into this already. Just contact them as instructed and explain which games you're having trouble with.
