Hi, I need help to build new PC to run software like-
1. Adobe Suit, Especially Adobe after Effect
2. Cinema 4D
Sometimes, may run-
3. Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max
4. Blender.

and 4K video editing.

It should be noted that I am not a gamer. I will use the PC mostly for video editing, 2d, and 3d animations and thereby be rendered.
I am looking for mostly on CPU part, I have shortlisted four different CPUs-Intel i7 7700K, i7 5820K, i7 6800K and i7 6850K or Ryzen.
Let me clear my thought here-

As I am going to do video editing and rendering, I am giving priority over core counts (Should I?) and making i7 7700 as the last choice.

I am avoiding Ryzen (e.g. Ryzen 7 1700 or 1800X, As I am confused about its performance with NVIDIA GPU or the software I am going to use).

However, Should I go with Ryzen in place of Intel.

If not-

So the Remaining options are i7 5820K, i7 6800K and i7 6850K.
As far as I have understood, there is a very minimum performance difference among these three processors.

#And

The price difference is between i7 5820K and i7 6800, around 50 USD, between i7 6850K and i7 6850K, around 120 USD.
I am damn stuck here -

So the question is, should I stay with i7 5820K and save extra 50 USD or 100 USD or go for i7 6800K or 6850K?

*** Price is not a factor here. I can somehow afford i7 6850K. I just want to make sure here that I am not wasting money for no significant difference or not getting the value over price. I will also love to stay with i7 5820K if you all suggest.

#isthe MOBo selected Here OK?

I would also love to hear your suggestions on my first Selection,
please.

-Thank you.

#My Tentative Budget for CPU and GPU:

CPU- 300USD -500 USD
GPU- 450 USD
My Total Budget is Around 1700K-2000K.

#QuickConfig

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K or 6800K or 6850K or 7700K (Please suggest here)

Thank you very much for your comment. I have had a quick overview on X299 CPUs. But I am not that much impressed with them.

My budget for CPU is around 500 USD.

My base choice is i7 6850K (480 USD) which has base 3.6 Ghz Speed, 15 MB L3 Cach and 40 PCIE lens. Yes, I may afford either i7 7800X (289 USD) or 7820X (599 USD), in case I increase my budget a bit.

1. But I see X series CPUs (i have chosen) has 28 PCIE lens ( yes more than 28 PCIE lens is not a barrier for me as I may have very minimum chances of future SLI).

2. Both CPU has a lower L3 cache ( In the case of i7 7800X it is 8.25 MB, and in the case of i7 7820X it is 11 MB) than i7 6850K (15 MB),

Is not that an important issue? (i don't know)

3. Yes, Base Clock Speed is almost identical for all three CPU.

4. yes both i7 6850K and 7800X has 6 core and 12 thread (So, here both CPUs are in a tie)

But i7 7820 has 8 core and 16 thread ( but I don't thing going for extra two core with the limitation of 28 PCIE lens and cache is not wise (in my case) where the CPU is also almost 150 USD more than the price of i7 6850K)

So my understanding is- Still i7 6850K is an all rounder and great to go with.

and if lower PCIE and L3 Cache Memory are not a barrier for future i7 7800X is also a great option.

Note that, I am not an expert. So I might be wrong here. These are just my understanding.

What do you think dear?
