Computer stopped booting up gradually?

So I just bought an HP Z800 about 6 weeks ago and since the start it had some weird startup behavior (occasionally wouldn't display on startup, would shut down the OS but never come back to boot when restarted, wouldn't shut down all the way when I shut it down normally through Windows, etc.), but I didn't worry about it too much because it was occasional and it would boot up fine after hard resetting it, but then within the last 2-3 weeks it has become more and more frequent until last night the bootup got stuck on the black screen after the Windows 10 logo even after several tries and then just flat stopped. The computer turns on (I can hear the fans, HDD, LED turns on, etc.), but it doesn't display any video. I suspected it was my graphics card (EVGA GTX 560) so I tried the card it came with (Nvidia Quadro 2000), but still no luck. I've tried every combination of RAM and graphics cards, reset the CMOS, etc., but it doesn't change anything. This is actually now the second PC in a row that has done this to me and I am not sure why, because I feel like I take better care of my computers than the average person, but to have it happen two times consecutively make me feel like it's something I'm doing. Does anyone know what could be the issue or what I could be doing wrong that would kill the PC in a matter of weeks? Thanks!

It's a refurbished Z800, but my brother has purchased at least 10 of the same refurbished Z800's for the company he works for an they have all worked perfectly. Could it be that my luck is just that bad?
