Building my first gaming pc, i just need some advice on if my build will work

Solution
A few points to now:
1. On the H170 chipset, and a locked CPU - your RAM will be limited to 2133MHz speeds. No sense buying faster.
2. The 600B from EVGA is far from the best, and there are much better options.

For the pricepoint, I'd be inclined to look to an AMD option if I were you.

If the budget can be stretched a little, I feel the 8GB 580 is a worthwhile investment over the 3GB 1060.

No reason to go for 6500, when 7500 is cheaper. Changed mobo and ram to fit 7500, GPU and PSU as well.

I'd go for Ryzen at that budget, you could easily get a 1500x or you could squeeze in a 1600. You would want to get faster RAM for ryzen, as it effects performance significantly. And for 100 dollars, you could get an atx b350 mobo. An ssd is also useful, just get the cheapest 120gb that comes from a decent brand. A semi modular PSU is better for cable management and keeps the build clean.

I'm not an expert pc builder and I have only just ordered my parts for my first build so what I have just said might just be rubbish, so bear that in mind.

Guys , you're not going to get a 580 in the UK for at least 4 weeks, likely longer.

Ryzen 1500x+1060 6gb , exact same price as the original build.

A very strong combo of Intel i5-7500 and NVIDIA GTX1070 is great for gaming.
