Hi

I found an amd phenom on second hand for 45euros
an i wanted to know if it was worth to upgrade to Amd Phenom II X6 1055t from Amd Athlon II X4 630.
When i sell my current cpu it comes down to 25euro to upgrade the cpu.
i usually play csgo and bf4.

My pc
8gb ddr2 ram
1tb wd green
Asus gtx 750ti
Amd Athlon II X4 630
450w psu.

Thanx

By itself it would not help that much, but if you bumped the clocks from 2.8 to 3.2 or preferably 3.4 or so then yes, it would make a bit of a difference. Since it does not have an unlocked multiplier you would have to overclock via the FSB. This should be fine, just remember to keep an eye on your hypertransport and memory clocks, and adjust those multipliers as needed. Man, you're taking me...
The fact that it's six cores won't help in gaming, but the fact that it's a Phenom II instead of an Athlon II will help in CSGO. It won't help in BF4 as much because your 750 Ti will also limit performance in that game. If it were me, I'd spend the 25 euro to do it. Are you sure your motherboard can handle the processor?
