Asus Z170Progaming need help downgrading

I would like to downgrade to a earlier bios for non k overclocking, but it just says that this bios is not proper whenever i try. If someone could help me out that would me awesome, Thanks in Advance,

In that case, normal update methods may not work. You should look for specific update instructions on the site you got the BIOS from.
And of course, be aware of the possibility of bricking the board when updating with non-supported BIOS.

I have a Asus Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard running 3402(the latest bios), I would like to downgrade to 1301.

This is actually a non k overclock bios so u can't find it on their website, I got it from overclockingguide.
