Looking to upgrade CPU and motherboard

Currently have an i7 920 and wanting to upgrade to something better. So far I have these two combos was wondering if they were any good.

  • Intel - Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
    Gigabyte - GA-H170-HD3 DDR3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard £234 for both

    • or
      Intel - Core i5-6600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
      Asus - B150M-A D3 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard £275 for both

To avoid any BIOS issues, if going with the 7500, go with a 200 series motherboard. The 100 series motherboards might not come with an updated BIOS, and you cannot update it without a 6th Gen CPU.
