I am in the making of building a gaming pc, and I have already purchased my parts, but I am concerned that my PSU will not be enough for my PC. My Pc Parts are:
GPU: VisionTek RX470 4GB 1206+ MHz (OC)
CPU: I3-6100 3.70 Ghz 3M Cache
Hard Drive: Seagate BarraCude 1TB 3.5-Inch SATA III 6Gb/s
Motherboard: MSI Gaming Intel Skylake B150 LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 Mirco ATX
PSU: EVGA 450 B1, 80+ BRONZE 450W

Solution

Yes, it's more effiicent, meaning it doesn't take as much power as the 470. So again, you will be fine.
450w would be more than enough to power that thing. however, I wouldn't trust that EVGA brand. Don't get me wrong, EVGA makes good products, but the lower end ones usually have poor quality. I would have went with the Corsair CX450M instead, for this budget build.

If you can exchange it, go for it. If not, you are still good considering that your performance are really not going to push the PSU to its limit

He already purchased his parts. His build will use no more than 300w, so the 450 should be good enough to handle it. Again, not sure if that particular PSU was a good choice.
