i've seen computer shops advertising it , but my question is the brackets there are for the cpu's how can you make that copper part stick to the gpu chipset ? do you have to buy tools or use a glue or something ? thanks for your kind replies
They make pre-made ones. I know EVGA and NZXT have 3rd party blocks for their coolers. Well actually NZXT has an adapter to fit a block. https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g10-white
no , i'm just trying to make my old 120 mm single fan cpu cooler cool my gpu instead , and my card is an asus strix 390x if that helps , AMD
I tried , but I completely messed up , now my 390x is defunct or fubar like you guys say . it's out of commission it only gave me a chance to clean up my case and reassemble again .. and I removed some of the extra wirings in my cosmos II case , I don't know if they were for water cooling kits , LED s or maybe server stuff , anyhow I threw them all away .. now it's much better
