So currently i run a amd 8320 and im about to swap out my stock cooler for a master cooler 212 evo heat sink. I wanted to go ahead and get a new gpu as well. I currently run a gtx 960 with a 750 watt psu. Any suggestion for a better card with my cpu? Im buying a new monitor so i can play in 1080p.

I would recommend the Nvidia 1070 GTX MSI Gamer X8 Edition. That's what I currently run with an AMD 8350 and it kills anything at 1080p, all settings up and what not. It's a bit pricey at $400, but I feel it's a bit more future proofed than other GPU's if your planning on only running games at 1080p in the near and far future. If that price point is too steep, the MSI equivalent for AMD, the Radeon RX 580 8gb at $259 is a solid compromise.

I wouldn't go above a GTX 1060 6GB or a RX580 with that CPU.
Any card above these would be wasted by the weak CPU.

So many choices lol. I'm waiting for the price of the Intel I7 to drop so I can build me a new Intel gaming desktop, but the amd 8320 has served me well. The only problem I have is the heat the thing produces. It's gotten up to 70c in some cores. That's why I'm switching to the evo 212 heat sink. I'll look at your suggestion as well. Thank you.
