Requirements: reliable, quiet as possible.
Uses: dedicated mostly to launch-box gaming (lb is a feature rich front-end software for emulated arcade and console video games as well as for modern games with graphical ui, a video trailer for each game and many other features), sharing some of the content in a torrent tracker. Most of the games that will be played are full sets of emulated arcade and console games from all times (from "pong" to ps2/ps3 emulation) through lb and some modern pc games sometimes.

For all the launch box gaming content i want to have i would need something like 8TB (TB's of added files for each game) but i thought i'd start with 4TB and add a second 4TB in the future. I saw these 3 drives at the pc store website:
WD40EFRX
WD40EZRZ
ST4000DM005
They cost more or less the same price. I did not list the wd black i saw as well because its price is noticeably higher and i'm not sure i would really need it, correct me if i'm wrong.

My questions are:
1. What would be the best option for my needs? Are there better options i did not list?
2. I'm using ASUSTeK P8Z68-V motherboard. What is the maximum hdd capacity it supports? Would it support these? How should i connect the hdd to my motherboard for best performance? Which hdd should i favor for SATA 6 Gb/s connection - I have 3 drives - os hdd, media/sharing hdd, gaming/sharing hdd (the new one i will buy)? I think i only have two SATA 6 Gb/s options in my motherboard, correct me if i'm wrong.

Thanks in advance.
