Hi,

I am going to build a new computer and I have decided to go to AMD instead of Intel 7700K. I have 796€ of budget(for buying at pccomponentes spain) just for cpu,ram and motherboard. I have readen in many posts that ram is very important for ryzen and has lots of problems of stability. I am between this two mother boards: Aorus X370 Gaming K7 and Asus Crosshair VI Hero. Which ram do you suggets me for ryzen?? Should I buy Ryzen 1700 instead of 1700x and use the money for better RAM and Mothesboard?? Which of the 2 motheboards is better?? My budget is 796€.
The rest of my components are:

  • SSD: SAMSUNG SSD 850 EVO 500GB
    GPU: RX 480 8GB DDR5 reference
    Case: Corsair Carbide Clear 400C
    HDDx2 WD BLUE 1TB Sata 3
    Corsair VS 650W 80 Plus
    SCREEN: BENQ XL2730Z

I am going to use this computer for gaming and for the works of my computers engineer at univeristy.
In addittion, I want the most powerfull build and that it last at least for 4 years.

I am looking forward to hearing from you. I'll be very gratefull If you help me.
Yours sincerrally.

You don't need anything flashy. It gets the job done, and that is what matters. If you want to see a list of B350 boards, check here: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#s=33&c=124

I will go with 1700 then. What motherboard and ram do you suggest me 481,28 € of budget. I have heared that Flare X is the most recommended RAM for AMD.

Honestly, any B350 board should do you just fine. It will depend on price and brand. The one feature that truly depends is the number of DIMM slots. Do you you want 2 or 4? It's up to you. For RAM, you get the Flare X, but any 3000-3200mhz RAM should do you fine from G SKill, Corsair, or even Crucial. Make sure to look at the motherboard's comparability list.

I don't know, maybe at future I buy a second RX 480 8gb ddr5 If it is worth it. I am just going to use 2 dimms of RAM 2x 8GB. Recommend me which one is the best motherboard for me. I was thinking of the 2 says above(Asus Crosshair VI Hero or Gigabyte Gaming 5 or Gigabyte Gaming K7.

I don't know for sure If I am going to make a crossfire at future, maybe if it is still worth in 4 years. I am not planing to change the gpu right now, maybe in 3 years. Which otehr RAM of 3200 do you suggets me, for example G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB 2x8GB CL14 or the same but with CL 16?? The QVL of ryzen's mother board are so restricted. Does Trident Z RGB works with am4 mobos?

Yeah, I have looked to it so goind for flare x as said, cl14 of this link, has the same price. So are you sure of this mobo??? I said: I don't know for sure If I am going to make a crossfire at future, maybe if it is still worth in 4 years. I am not planing to change the gpu right now, maybe in 3 years.

The case in which all this is going tto be contained is Corsair Carbide Clear 400C
