So yeah, I was doing some light gaming on Euro truck simulator 2, I have checked the temperatures before while running that game and it doesn't exceed much above 65 degrees. I was playing and the computer just turned off, not a normal shutoff either, instant. Then turned itself on and there was nothing on the display, the graphics card had stopped posting. My VGA light went off on the motherboard too.

The pc works just fine, I connected my DP to the motherboard and it worked, in certain that my GPU is not being detected, after trying to reinstall my drivers it failed because it couldn't detect any GPU in my pc.

Not even the fans are spinning. No smell of something burned either. It's a Radeon r9 390X by sapphire, I've had it for a year now.

Also like to mention that I have tried different GPU ports with no further result. I'm going to leave the pc overnight and pray that it works when I wake up, is it really dead? I don't get what happened, what do I do?

Sorry, I misread as you DID smell a burnt smell.

Given the quality components used, and the VGA light on the board...... it's definitely possible the card has failed.

Other than testing it out in another system, the VGA error light on the motherboard may be all you need to know.

I have recently noticed the VGA light has gone off, but still no GPU being detected. I'm just going to pray for a miracle until tomorrow, if that doesn't work then I have to turn it in
