Looking to do a new build for high res photo editing and perhaps dabbling in some video editing. Here is what I have so far:

The items I need help with are:
1. Is this motherboard decent and/or is there something better in the price range? ASUS has some aggressive looking "ROG STRIX" boards that look solid and include Bluetooth & Wifi (not sure if that's a good idea). I mainly need dual M.2 slots for the dual SSDs.
2. Video Card. Adobe recommends this for Lightroom: "NVIDIA: For NVIDIA cards, consider using a card from the GeForce GTX 760+ line (760, 770, 780, or later) or from the GeForce GTX 900 series." Any ideas for me?
3. At what point do I need liquid cooling for overclocking the i7?
4. Any other comments are much appreciated, i.e. memory, power supply, case, etc.

Thanks in advance everyone!

I do a lot of that same stuff, though not on a "pro" level.
Hover over my avatar to the left, and see the specs of my system.

Either of those CPUs will work. I'm not sure either one crushes the other.
You don't have to go overboard on the GPU.
ANd you probably don't really need to OC the CPU. ANd you REALLY don't need liquid cooling on it.

Yeah that's where I could use some help. Per this article, the i7-7700 shreds the Ryzen 1700X and 1800x at everything but photo export (using Adobe Lightroom): https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Adobe-Lightroom-CC-2015-8-AMD-Ryzen-7-1700X-1800X-Performance-910/

bit surprising i would have thought adobe software would have been optimised for as many cores as possible but doesnt seem to be by that

though its not something i use

though that article looks like it was almost as soon as ryzen came out

might be they have improved its performance since then
