just bought new hard drive (2tb) formatted it and was going to transfer OS and all data on main drive to new hdd. however i used AOMEI partition assistant to transfer the OS from old hdd to new hdd, finish the transfer and my new hdd is non existent cant see it in disk management or my computer or bios boot menu. i have no idea what ive done here. all i wanted to do was transfer old hdd data over to new including OS as old hdd is slow i feel and only 500gb. Many Thanks

Solution
For a successful clone from old drive to new, do this:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new HDD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect
Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new HDD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe...

Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the original boot partitions, here:

I'm not sure what that is or how it happened.
You'll have to show us a screenshot of this.
