Hi there people

I currently have a 1070 strix 8gb in my rig atm

Was thinking of upgarding to a 1080ti

Now i can sell my current 1070 for 300
Willing to add the 370 needed for the upgrade

Is it worth it?

I currently game in 4k on my acer predator at 60hz

I play games such as gta v, doom and nfs 2016 at 4k( if thats relevant)

Apparently according to the advice i recevied so far there is a 120% price increase for a 50% performance boost.

Is this worth it do you guys think?

I was hoping some experienced pc gamers can shed some light on this situation for me

Any comments suggestions or advice would be greatly apperciated

Thank you

I personally would not if what you have is working for you... I think the 1080 ti would be a huge upgrade for you, but if what you have is working for you, there is no reason to upgrade something that ain't broke.

Now, on the other hand... With the shortage of 1070's in the world right now, it is a good time to sell... :) I think it would boil down to if you have some disposable income. I do think that 1080ti will be good for a number of years whereas your 1070 is going to start showing it's age sooner...

So I suppose my recommendation is yes and no... :)

BTW... Why would you buy a founders edition... I thought the cooling on those things were terrible...
