Hi, thanks for clicking. before we begin, specs-
i5-6600k, GTX 1070, 1x16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4-2400, Rosewill Hive 750w

Most importantly the motherboard is an MSI KRAIT GAMING 3X Z170-A.
I RMA'd my Motherboard after I was having issues for a while with my PC freezing and being all buggy. (Thread)
It took MSI a really long time to replace it which was annoying enough, almost a month, but it looks like they gave me not even my old motherboard back, but a different USED one.
How can I tell, you might ask: My case (NZXT S340) Has no standoff in the middle of the mobo. It's just a post. But there are rather clear screw marks on the mobo that I received after the RMA, even though I never used that specific hole myself.

Not only this, but after going through EVERY. LAST. THING. that I can think of to troubleshoot, this stupid Mod edit machine won't post. I even went through the "No POST" thread in troubleshooting. The MSI "EZ DEBUG" shows that both my RAM and CPU are either absent or FAILED. It worked on the last motherboard!

What the hell can I do now? I'm feeling really lost and stuck. Feel free to comment troubleshooting stuff for me to try.
But before you ask, I don't have a spare anything to test with. Except a friend's PC to test RAM, I guess.
Any help is hugely appreciated <3 Sorry for the long af post.

Solution
Recommend to try this:
Test the PSU with paper clip method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FWXgQSokF4

After test the PSU, take out the gtx1070, RAM, and the SSD ( boot drive), using the onboard iGPU, unplug the power core from the wall outlet, clear the CMOS by the jumper.
After that, try boot the PC without RAM and boot device, 1) The PC does not boot/post, either the CPU or MB has problem. 2) The PC can boot, but you get the no RAM and boot device error, then add the part one by one back, in this way you will know the problem is from which component.

So I did this and it opened my eyes to trying some other stuff. I switched the RAM slot and it is working fine.
