I have a slightly old graphics card and I am looking for a new one. With so many options out there I was wondering what any of your recommendations are that are similar to the Nividia Geforce 660. I need dual monitor support as Im a programming student. I'm not looking for a monster but something I can play something like Overwatch comfortably. Im also looking into buying rainbow six siege so it would be nice if worked well with it too. I would be in debt to this forum if you could help me.

Ok, your cpu isn't too bad, it's a 4th generation...

You can run dual monitors on virtually any decent gpu nowadays, I'm running dual 1080p on a 660ti without an issue.
Gaming is different. It's highly gpu intensive, even simple games will tax a gpu considerably more than just web surfing or watching YouTube. Your current card is strong enough to even watch 4k HD movies, if that says anything.
That said, for 1080p, the most recommended card is the gtx1060 6Gb. I'd say a amd Rx480 or 580 would be good too, but with the recent altmining coin explosion, the prices and availability of those cards has become ridiculous.

So, the nvidia gtx1060 6Gb. The gtx 1050ti is cheaper, but a little less able when it comes to hard graphics games like Rainbow 6

Yes, that's a 1060 that he was talking about.

What concerns me is, what are your system specs like, it takes a modern CPU to get the best out of a card like that. What are your specs?

Quad Intel Core i5-4440 3.1 GHz (Yes it is old but it is cooled well and it working fine for me)
16Gb DDR3 Ram
Ample power supply ( Dont want to open my computer to find the sticker unless needed)

Anything else im missing? I would think my computer is up to date other than maybe the cramp PC case and oldish CPU. ( I plan to upgrade my case when I buy my graphics card).

Ok, your cpu isn't too bad, it's a 4th generation i5....I was worried you were going to say it's a core 2 duo or something old like that. With those specs you should be fine if you did go ahead and get a 1060.

Just one other thing I should point out, you did say you wanted a card similar to the 660, and the 1060 is a huge upgrade, it comes in both a 6GB and 3GB version, here are the comparisons to the 660.

The other option would be a 1050Ti,

Absolutely nothing wrong with a 4440 lol, I'm still pushing a i5-3570k/660ti and a i7-3770k/970. That 4440 is still a very decent cpu, Intel hasn't made much of an improvement over the last few gens, 5% here, 10% there is all.
The nice part about a 1060 is it actually requires less power than the 660, so you are good there with the psu.
Cases are personal, so that's up to you Op, but I'd get a decent one, and maybe Rob a couple of fans from the old case and set up some good airflow. And decent doesn't necessarily mean huge, depending on your mobo is what size minimum you can use.
