As the title describes i have an SSD with a partially broken L connector it the bottom flat part, or vertical flap

That part ^^ it works im on it now as we speak but, i wanna know if its safe, the pins look in great shape.. i think i broke it in installation of my 960 evo m.2... which i don't even know how i did.

Just would like some clarity that nothing is gonna happen maybe down the road with that piece being broken?

Problem with that damaged connector is, that cable may get dislodged from it's place and you'd get wrong voltage on wrong pins.
That may kill your drive.

You can get extension cable, that would stay in place even with the type of damage your sata connector has.
