I'm really excited about my new build this year. It was my first time building my own PC and I loved the experience. I'm now foraying into the deep dark hole of overclocking. First I'll give the specs on my rig:
CPU: i7 6700k
CPU fan: CM MasterAir Maker 8
GPU's: 2x MSI 980Ti (Armor 2x edition)
MB: Asus Z170-A LGA1151
RAM: 2x RipJaw 2133 8gb
Power Supply: 850 gold rated (unsure of brand, G2)
Now to the issue at hand. I've been using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility program to fine tune my bios settings. I've been able to reach a stable overclock of 4.5-4.6 Mhz with temps avg. around 70 degrees celcius. So should I be happy with what I've achieved? I've seen online stable 4.7-4.8Mhz. Is that a reasonable goal for a newb? I can upload settings I have such as voltage or anything else if people want to help.
