I am trying to get internet to my desktop since it is lacking an internet card, however, i have a usb network adapter that i can use, only the CD to install the driver software is missing. My laptop is Windows 10 and when I try ICS, my desktop recognizes the connection, but that there is no internet available. I've searched multiple forums and all fail to solve the problem. All of them say "Go to network adapter settings, right click properties on your wifi connection, click the sharing tab and check the first box, then select the connection to share with, then plug in the ethernet cable and you should have internet on your desktop." only I don't. If anyone can help, Thanks!
